Threat Actors

"Ransomware" tracks ransomware groups through their leak sites, and the organisations they name there as victims. Use it to see which groups are active, who they are naming, and in which industries and countries.

A group naming a victim is a claim the group publishes to apply pressure. It is not confirmation that data was taken or that it is genuine.

To open it, select Cyber Insights, then "Threat Actors", in the sidebar. "Ransomware" is the first tab.

The "Ransomware" tab of Threat Actors: the "Ransomware Groups Monitored" and "Total Targets Identified" cards, then the new victims of the last 24 hours.

"Status""Up" if the site was reachable at the last check, "Down" if it was not. Leak sites go down and come back often, so "Down" does not mean the group has stopped.

Open "Filters" to filter by "Group" (type part of the name and choose it) or "Status". Select the back arrow to return to "Ransomware".

  • "Victims": the organisations the group has named, with "Date", "Target Name", "Company", "Industry", "Type", and "Country".
